CAMPUS AREA BUS SERVICES (CABS)
CABS is designed to safely, economically, and conveniently fulfill your transportation needs to, from, and around campus. No pass or I.D. is needed to ride regular CABS routes. CABS operates on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Service is reduced during Summer Quarter, Quarter Breaks, and University Holidays. Look for CABS schedules in 160 Bevis Hall, on CABS buses, in all dorms, and at the Ohio Unions. For more information about CABS, visit our web site.
CENTRAL OHIO TRANSIT AUTHORITY (COTA)
A $9.00 fee to ride COTA is included in student quarterly tuition. Professional students pay $13.50 per semester. This fee allows OSU students to ride any COTA bus route at any time. A valid OSU ID or Buck ID card should be shown to the COTA bus driver while boarding.
Faculty and staff have the option of purchasing a reduced monthly bus pass at the Transportation & Parking Services 160 Bevis Hall office. Current costs are $41.00/month for the local bus (regularly $45.00) and $58.00/month for the express pass (regularly $62.00). (Please note: COTA passes at Transportation & Parking are only sold on a monthly basis. The month is designated as the first of each month, not the date from which the pass is purchased.)

MOTORCYCLE PARKING
Motorcycles are an efficient mode of travel and are welcome on the OSU campus. A current OSU motorcycle parking permit is required. The cost of a motorcycle permit is $15.00 annually and should be placed on the right side of the front fork. A motorcycle symbol on the parking map identifies the motorcycle-parking areas on campus. Motorcycles must park in two-
wheeled spaces from 5:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and may park in regular four-wheel vehicle spaces from 4:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Motorcycles are permitted to park at a meter as long as the meter fee is paid. Motorcycles are not permitted to park in some garages at any time because of the limitations of the parking gates. However, five garages have separate entrances for motorcycles and they are the SafeAuto Hospitals, Neil Ave., Ohio Union South, 9th Ave. East, and Lane Ave. (opens Winter 2010) garages.
